Experienced Security Officers & Guards

Blue Line Public Safety offers four types of security personnel. Each type presents unique advantages. For additional information click on the type of personnel that you would like to learn more about:

ARMED OFFICERS

Blue Line Public Safety Armed Officers are not your average armed security guards. They are highly trained Law Enforcement professionals. While many companies claim to provide ‘off duty officers’ they in fact do not and often cut corners; not delivering what they promise to their customers.

Blue Line Public Safety Armed Officers are the highly trained Law Enforcement professionals we promise with the superior experience and expertise you should expect. Because not every situation calls for an immediate escalation to potentially deadly force, Blue Line Public Safety Armed Officers also carry non-lethal alternatives, including extensive “Verbal Judo” skills*. Our highly trained professionals can often diffuse a negative situation before it becomes a serious problem.

A typical uniformed Blue Line Public Safety Armed Officer may carry the following equipment:
  • Side arm w/ holster
  • Additional ammunition
  • OC Spray (Pepper Spray)
  • Baton
  • Taser
  • Radio
  • Handcuffs
  • Flashlight
  • Rubber gloves (if CPR certified)
  • Mask (if CPR certified)
*Today, “Verbal Judo” can be viewed as a form of tactical communication or verbal self defense that has been adopted by many law enforcement agencies around the country and effectively incorporated into their training programs. “Verbal Judo” and several subsequent training courses were originally developed by the late Dr. George Thomas to teach ways to defuse conflict and redirect behavior into more positive channels. Blue Line Public Safety Officers excel in this skill set.

UNARMED OFFICERS

Not all security situations require a Blue Line Public Safety Armed Officer. We also offer unarmed officers. Many of our Blue Line Public Safety Armed Officers are also available in an unarmed capacity. Blue Line Public Safety Unarmed Officers are highly trained Law Enforcement professionals with a greater level of experience and ability to handle situations that average unarmed guards could not.
A typical Unarmed Officer may carry the following on duty:
  • Radio (On multi-officer assignments or if client provided)
  • Handcuffs
  • Flashlight (when required)
  • Rubber gloves (if CPR certified)
  • Mask (if CPR certified)

SPECIAL TASKS GROUP (STG)

The Blue Line Public Safety Special Tasks Group (STG) was formed to address security situations outside of standard operations. Members of this group are known as STG Agents.

Below are some examples of assignments for which STG Agents would likely be deployed:
  • High Threat / Profile Executive Protection (HTEP)
  • Covert Executive Protection (CEP)
  • High Value Asset Protection (HVAP)
  • High Risk Escort Duty (HRE)
